Inauguration Speech...

Ladies and gentleman my name is Onifade which is yoruba for "The Owner of Ifa has arrived". I am an omo Awo which means an apprentice Ifa priest. I live in Trinidad and Tobago. I am not an authority on Ifa so many things I say can be wrong. For that I apologise. I will always try to present accurate statements from the authorities on Ifa where available. However, as this is my blog I will also be putting my opinions.

This blog is just a way for me to express my views on many things in Ifa also in hopes to attract an online community so that we can all learn from each other.

Ifa is for everyone. Whether you call yourself part of this tradition or not you will find similarities between Ifa and whatever system you believe or adhere to. I use the word tradition and not religion because Ifa is a way of life. A way of bring man in better alignment with God through his Higher Self because it is the Higher Self that is the aspect of God.

I take this time to open the floor so to speak to whoever is out there to respond.

Onifade.
